Andres G. Flores (Andy or Big Andy), 82, of Erlanger, passed away Wednesday, March, 4, 2026, at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. He was born August 29, 1943, to the late Catarino Flores and Ramona Garcia Flores. He was preceded in death by his son, Andy Flores; his sisters, Lupe, Alicia, and Juanita; and his brother, Concepcion.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Angeles Aguero Flores (Angie) with whom he shared nearly 60 wonderful years of marriage, a milestone they would have celebrated this coming May. He is also survived by his daughter, Ann Sargent and her husband Randy, Erlanger, KY; his grandchildren, Sydney Eveland and her husband Chris, Florence Ky; Gregory Tanner and his wife Sylvia, Ludlow Ky; Bradlee Shields, Hebron, Ky, great grandchildren, Rainey, Mazzy, Phoenix, Wyatt, and Aldon (deceased), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
He was a man who valued family above all else and took great pride in the life he built with those he loved. Known for his strength, generosity, and wisdom, he was someone people could always rely on. Throughout his life he worked hard, retiring as a concrete worker, and carried that same dedication into everything he did. Whether sharing one of his many stories, offering advice, or making people laugh with his sense of humor, he had a way of making those around him feel comfortable and cared for. In his free time, he found peace in gardening and took pride in watching things grow. He also loved to cook and grill out, often bringing family and friends together over a good meal. He enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams, especially the Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Cincinnati Bengals. He believed in hard work, loyalty, and appreciating life’s simple moments, and those who knew him will remember his steady presence, his stories, his laughter, and the deep love he had for his family.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, where visitation will be held from 9-11 AM. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
