Anita Rose Cox

Anita Rose Caldwell Cox (Diddie), 89, of Crittenden, Ky, was born August 18, 1935 and died Saturday, February 22, 2025. She retired from Turfway Park. Preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Cox Jr.; parents Leonard Caldwell, Ida Mae Surgeon Caldwell; sisters, Edna Craddock Sorrell, Wilma Mae Baker, Mary Katherine Goodman and brother Robert Caldwell. Surviving sister is Wanda Iseral and husband, James of Verona, Ky. Those left surviving to carry on the legacy of Anita are daughter, Beverly Cox of Tampa, Florida; son Gary Cox and wife Rebecca of Frenchburg, Ky; 3 grandchildren, Bryan Burgess and wife Penny of Tampa, Florida; Christopher Burgess and wife Joelle of Palm Harbor, Florida and April McLain Dever and husband Benjamin, of Orlando, Florida and 7 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services held 12 PM Friday, March 7, 2025 at Floral Hills Funeral Home where visitation will be held Friday from 11-12 PM.  Burial to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions to the Kidney foundation.
