Anthony Scott Thompson

Anthony Scott Thompson, age 65, of Erlanger, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, Kentucky. Born on July 25, 1960, in Dayton, Ohio, Anthony lived a life centered on family, hard work, and the simple joys that brought him happiness. Anthony spent his time working as a shipping clerk in the warehouse industry before retiring.

Anthony was preceded in death by his father, Richard Thompson.

Anthony was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Rebecca Thompson. He was a father to Stacy, Jacob, and Courtney, and took great pride in watching his family grow through the years. A loving son to, Harriet Thompson. Brother to, Timothy (Amy), Clayton (Maria), and Christopher (Jennifer). He cherished the time spent with his grandchildren, Taylor, Damion, Derrick, Darius, Layne, and Sam, and was blessed to welcome great-grandchildren, Kyng and Keirstyn, into his life.

Anthony also leaves behind his friend, Gandalf the Grey, his beloved cat, who brought him comfort and companionship.

His family will remember him for the love he shared, the lessons he taught, and the many memories created throughout his life. Though he will be greatly missed, his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. All services will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill, Kentucky.
