Avery Hensley

Avery Hensley, 86, of Erlanger, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023. He was born March 6, 1937, in Arjay, Kentucky, the son of the late Gillous and Lowvella Hensley. He is survived by his son, Ralph M. Scott; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Russell Hensley, Shelby Lee Hensley, and Levera Spears; and great-great-niece, Octavia. Avery was preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret Hensley; children, Dale Scott and Cathy Perkins; siblings, Roscoe Hensley, Jay Hensley, and Carolyn Faye Lawson. A Visitation will be held on Monday, August 21, 2023, at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Floral Hills Funeral Home is honored to serve Avery’s family.
