Betty Jane Miles

Betty Janes Miles, 86, of Taylor Mill, passed away peacefully at her home on March 30, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on May 1, 1938, in Carrollton, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Corbett Heniss Crawford and Ethel Alice Ogden Crawford.

Betty dedicated a significant part of her life to her career as a Billing Clerk at Kentucky Utilities, where she was known for her unwavering work ethic and commitment. Upon retirement, she cherished her time spent with family, her beloved dog Sammy, and her close-knit circle of friends.

Above all, Betty was devoted to her family. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Wiley and Lisa McIntyre. Additionally, she leaves behind four grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren, each of whom held a cherished place in her heart.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Jack “JC” Miles; her daughter, Linda Sue Earls, as well as her eight brothers and sisters. Her legacy will be remembered through the countless lives she touched with her kindness and love. Betty's family finds comfort in knowing that she created a warm and loving environment for everyone who knew her. She will be dearly missed but will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her. Services will be private. Memorial contributions to St. Jude Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.
