Carol Ann Herald

Carol Ann Herald, 80, of Batavia, formerly of Taylor Mill, died Wednesday, May 28, 2025, with her family by her bedside. She was born September 13, 1944, in Dayton, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Benjamin T. Morton and Garnet J. Hawk Morton. On May 4, 1962, she married Larry Herald, who preceded her in death on November 14, 2017. She is survived by her children, Larry (Jane) Herald; Matthew (Kimberly) Herald; Alice (Jake) Smith; Charlie (Misty) Herald; grandchildren Callie, Joshua, Jacob, Elijah, Zachariah, Taylor, Kelsey, Nathaniel, Chance, Hunter, Cody and Logan; numerous great grandchildren and a sister, Esther Eversole. She was a loving wife to Larry and the heart of her family, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her deep faith was evident in her long-standing membership at Calvary Baptist Church in Latonia, KY, and her current involvement with Undivided Worship Center in Goshen, OH. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, from 11 - 1 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, with Pastor Larry Herald officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
