Charity Mae Fox

Charity Mae Fox, 78, passed away peacefully at her home on September 8, 2026. She was born on July 24, 1948, in Seymour, Indiana, to the late Harry Dudgeon and Helen Dudgeon.

Charity was married to her loving husband, Kenneth Fox, for 55 years. She spent many years working as a housekeeper at St. Elizabeth hospital. Charity enjoyed playing bingo and the lottery, spending time with her family, and especially loved being surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Fox; her children, Patricia Fox (Scott), Penny Fox, Bob Dudgeon (Elizabeth), Wilma Fox, Marsha McPherson, and Marie Fox; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Anthony Fox and Franchie McPherson; and her brothers, James Dudgeon, and Marshall Dudgeon.

Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, on Monday, September 14, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
