Charles Lee West

Charles Lee West, 67, of Union, a retired electrical engineer, passed away peacefully at his home on June 29, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on December 26, 1958, in Covington, he was a beloved husband to Teresa L. Allen West, who remains to cherish his memory.

Charles dedicated much of his professional life to the field of electrical engineering, where he showcased his talents and commitment to innovation. He was known for his thorough understanding of complex systems and his meticulous attention to detail, earning the respect of peers and colleagues alike throughout his career.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Charles found joy in his hobbies. He was passionate about building and flying model airplanes, often finding solace in the skies. Additionally, he embraced the art of 3D printing, where his creativity and technical skill came together beautifully, allowing him to explore new possibilities and bring his imaginative designs to life.

Charles is remembered fondly by his loved ones, including his dear wife, Teresa, who will carry forward the warmth of his spirit, and two stepsons, Gary and Robert McMullen. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Norma Frances West, who played significant roles in shaping the person he became.

Funeral services will be held 12 PM Monday, July 7, 2025, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel B, with Jim McIntosh officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 11-12 PM. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
