Christine Reams

Christine Reams, age 90, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026, at her home. She was born on September 14, 1935, in Corbin, Kentucky, to the late Preston B. Powers and Clara Pemberton Powers.

Christine enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved spending time gardening, especially planting and caring for her tomato plants. She also found her greatest joy in being around her family, sharing moments, stories, and love with those closest to her.

Christine is preceded in death by her husband, Conley Reams, her son, David A. Reams, her daughter Debora Reams Neary, brothers, John Powers, Elbert Powers, sisters, Dorothy Powers Smith, Louise Powers Rapier, Flossie Powers Russell, and Alma Powers Baker.

She is survived by her children, Michael Reams (Barbara), Bruce Reams, brother, Elmer Powers, sister, Pauline Powers Eifler, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will continue to carry her memory forward.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge Baptist Church, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Randy Wallace officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
