Clara Mae Taylor, 95, of Taylor Mill, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood.  She was born July 6, 1929, in Covington, the daughter of the late Howard and Gertrude Toole Cook.  She was retired after a long career at AT&T.  She loved to travel and tend to her flower garden.  She was a past member of Women of the Moose, Lodge 1486, and the Independence Community Fire Department Ladies Auxilliary.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Chester Taylor, sisters Norma Ficke and Reva Wischer.  She is survived by her sister Nola Nunnally, four nieces, Cheryl Bucki, Debbie Caldwell, Elana Baber, Kathy Thomas and a nephew, Jim Nunnally, and lifelong friends and loving neighbors.  Because of her love of dogs, a memorial donation may be made to Kenton County SPCA or St. Elizabeth Hospice.  Per her wishes, no services will be held.
