Connie Jean Purcell, 76, of Madison, Indiana, a cherished member of her family and community, passed away on February 18, 2025, at Ripley Crossing in Milan, Indiana. Born on July 2, 1948, in Cincinnati, she was known for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering spirit.

Connie was a devoted member of St. Barbara Catholic Church, where she found strength and solace in her faith. Her love for reading was matched only by her deep affection for her pets, which brought joy and companionship to her life.

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Doug Purcell, who stood by her side through all of life's journeys. Connie is also survived by her children, Jerri Lantry (Tommy), Terri Blackburn, Tasha Teremi (Mark), Ethan Purcell (Lauren), and her daughter Amanda Bensick (Perry). The legacy of love she created will continue through her 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, who will remember her gentle guidance and nurturing spirit.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Lee Bain and Lola McClellan Bain. Their memories remain a cherished part of her story, entwined with the warmth she brought to all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her kindness, vibrant spirit, and dedication to her family and faith will be dearly missed, but her memory will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those she touched. Services and burial will be private at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
