Corinda Sue Gerding

Corinda Sue Gerding, 66, of Newport, died Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at home.  She was born January 31, 1957, in Madison Indiana, a daughter of the late Albert Bersot and Corinne (Pyles) Bersot.  She was a member of Lifegate church in Newport, She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her family.  She is survived by her children,  Angela J. McClendon (Mike); Amanda Gerding; Justin Gerding and Derek J. Gerding; two sisters, Wendy Watts and Jamie Herald; 7 grandchildren, Michael, Alisha, Mia, Alayasia, Lauren, Derek and Ashton. 2 Great-Grandchildren, Zayden and Evelette.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul James (Jimmy) Gerding, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 12-2 PM, with burial to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
