COVINGTON - Daniel J. Smallwood, 93, died Saturday April 19 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Edgewood.
He worked for the railroad, Fruit Growers Express and was an Army veteran.
His wife, Geneva Hurley Smallwood, died in 1998.
Survivors include his sons, James and Daryl Smallwood; daughters, Mary Glenna Densler, Edna Smallwood, Phyllis Vinegar and Mildred Minnick; brother, William Smallwood; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday April 23 and service will be 11 a.m. Thursday April 24 at Swindler & Currin Funeral Home, Latonia. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
Memorials: American Cancer Society, 297 Buttermilk Pike, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017.
