Dannie Ray Prewitt

Dannie Ray Prewitt, 80, of Villa Hills, died Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Saint Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood.  He was born March 29, 1945, in Laurel, Kentucky, the son of the late James C. Prewitt and Elizabeth Moore Prewitt.  He was a retired Truck Driver for many years and was proud to be a Marine.  He was married to Joann C. Prewitt, who has preceded him in death September 4, 2019.  He is survived by his children, Roderick Jefferson; Danielle Callahan; Christine Prewitt; Natasha Prewitt; Joshua Prewitt; Denver Moore and Denise Coy; several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  He was also preceded in death by four siblings. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, where visitation will be held Wednesday from 11-1 PM.  Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens with military gravesite rites.
