David Edward Baker, 48, of Morning View, passed away Friday, September 11, 2026.  He was born September 6, 1978, in Covington, the son of the late Henry and Helen Baker.  He was employed by McLane Industries as a Warehouse Worker and was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed video games, wrestling, basketball and was a great cake maker.  He was married to Alicia Kaye Houston Baker, and is also survived by his children, Chase Hunter Dyrstad; Marcus Gage Dyrstad; Emilee Rose Baker; Kaylee Mae Baker; Aubrey Nichole Baker and Addilynn Darla Baker. He is also survived by sisters Kimberly Parhan; Christina Baker; and his grandchildren, Theo House, Remington Dyrstad and Denver Dyrstad. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, September 21, 2026, at the Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, where visitation will be held from 11-1 PM.  Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
