David Ray Haddix

David Ray Haddix, 82, of Erlanger, died Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Belmont Terrace.  He was born July 20, 1944, in Breathitt County, Kentucky, the son of the late Thomas Haddix and Hazel Combs Haddix.  He was a retired Delivery Driver and an Army veteran.  He is survived by his wife, Donna Ahrens Haddix; six children; Nicholas Abell (Amy Sebastian); Michael Abell (Amanda); Jennifer Koenig (Ryan); David R. Haddix, Jr; Carl L. Haddix and Daniel Haddix; one sister, Olga Getsch (Pete); 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Delana Sue Tatum; brothers Homer, Ledford, Leslie, Alonzo and Darrell Haddix; and sisters Loretta Noble, Deloris Shouse, Claudia Campbell and Gladys Fugate.  There will be a visitation Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A from 9-10:30 AM, followed by a brief funeral service and entombment at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.  Floral Hills is honored to serve the Haddix family.
