Donald Sawyer, 64, of Florence, Kentucky passed away on June 6, 2018 at St Elizabeth, Florence. He was born on June 17, 1953 to Marvin and Thelma Sawyer. Donald enjoyed writing, having two books published. He also enjoyed sports of all kinds.
Donald was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Sawyer, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Thelma Sawyer; daughter Aubrey (Curt) Sawyer; son Donny (Denise) Sawyer, Jr; brothers Marvin Sawyer, Jr. Gary Sawyer, Ronnie (Edith) Sawyer; sisters Jeannie (Leon) Doyle, Sandra Schaffer; 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 11 am until 1pm. An opportunity will be available at 1 pm to share memories of Donald. A private burial will take place in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
