Dora Beth Trapp, known lovingly as Beth, was born on January 7, 1955, to the late William and Nora Walton. She passed peacefully on October 11, 2025 at our home, surrounded by the love of her daughter.
Beth was a devoted mother, grandmother, and beloved school teacher. She is survived by her daughters; Jennifer Samora and Elizabeth Anna Drees; her brother, Herb Walton; and her cherished grandchildren: Anastasia, Charlotte, Veronica, Eli, and Dean.
Beth spent over 33 years teaching, shaping young minds with compassion and dedication. After retiring, she continued her lifelong mission of helping others by volunteering at the local cat shelter. Her heart was open to both people and animals, and she gave generously of her time and care.
She was a steadfast supporter of her daughters, attending everything from softball games to marching band performances. Education was deeply important to her, and she instilled in her children and grandchildren a passion for learning and the pursuit of higher education.
Beth's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She grew up in the church and found joy in participating in church groups. Last Christmas, her only wish was for a large-print Bible—a reflection of her enduring devotion.
Her life was a testament to kindness, dedication, and love.
