Dorothy Jean Pentz, 66, of Dayton, Kentucky, died Saturday, February17, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood, with her family by her bedside. She was born June 14, 1957, in Hazard, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Melvin Hansel and Helen Ashley Hansel. She was a homemaker and was married to John W. Pentz, Jr. There will be a visitation from 9-12 PM Friday, February 23, 2024, at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Graveside services to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
