Edgar McClanahan Sr

Edgar J. McClanahan, Sr., 80 of Newport, KY passed away on Sep. 2, 2016 at the Baptist Convalescent Home. He retired from the Witt Company as a Skimmer in the Foundry division. He was a longtime member of Taylor Mill Lions Club and an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by a Daughter: Connie Winterman. Edgar is survived by his Loving Wife of 59 years, Thelma Kidd McClanahan; Daughters: Barbara McClanahan and Veronica McCarthy (Brian); Son: Edgar J. McClanahan, Jr. ; Grandchildren: Sarah, Charlie, Andy, Faith, Savannah, Edgar,III and Mallory and 3 Great Grandchildren. The Graveside Service will be on Tuesday, Sep. 6, 2016 at 2 PM at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, KY. Floral Hills Funeral Home is serving the family.
