Eleanor Simmons

Eleanor Louise Simmons,77, of Wilder, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at home.  She was born January 30, 1945, in Cincinnati, a daughter of the late Anthony and Virginia Ciccarella.  She was retired as a Custodian at NKU and was married to Kenneth Simmons, who preceded her in death in 2013.  She is survived by three sons, Cleve Samuel (Tara); Gary Samuel and Scott Samuel; grandchildren Shanel Dean (Adam), Scott Samuel II (Megan),Marissa Samuel, Anthony Samuel, Chloe Samuel, Caden Samuel, and four great-grandchildren, Daxton Dean,  Eben Dean,  Cole Samuel, Scarlett Samuel and siblings Donna McArthur, Anthony Ciccarella;  James Ciccarella (Mary), Anna Woodyard (Ed) and Loretta Templeton.  She was also preceded in death by sisters Margaret Roberts and Delores Dennis.  Funeral services will be held 5 PM Monday, September 26, 2022, at Floral Hills Funeral Home with Pastor David L. Simpson officiating.  Visitation will be Monday from 3-5 PM.  Burial will take place at a later date at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North.
