Rebecca "Becky" Neal, age 88, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2026. She was born on March 21, 1938, in Caddo, Kentucky, to the late Thomas Mattox and Robin Mattox.

Becky was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who enjoyed spending time with her family and staying active. She shared 68 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Robert Neal.

Becky enjoyed attending plays at the theater, going to sporting events, camping, and spending time outdoors. She loved planning activities, teaching children how to make different dishes, and keeping busy. She also enjoyed monthly gatherings with her friends and was involved with the Villa Hills Homemakers Club. Becky shared her love for her community by writing articles for the Villa Hills paper.

Becky will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her love for the outdoors, and the wonderful memories she created with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Neal; her children, Carrie Hudgins, Robert Neal (Sheryl), Julia Grout, and James Neal; and her grandchildren, Rebecca Hudgins, Robert Grout, and Neal Grout.

Becky is preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Thomas Mattox and Louise Newton.

A visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, on Monday, November 9, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
