Eric Homer West

Eric Homer West, 66, of Morning View, died Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at home.  He was born January 26, 1959, in Ft. Thomas, a son of the late William H. West and Irene Powers West and was married to Tami Ishmael West, who preceded him in death September 13, 2022.  He was retired from Progress Rail.  Surviving are his children, Mel Reynolds (Amy); Rachel Reynolds (Bryan);  Melissa (John) Scheiderer; Joshua Ishmael (Sara); Debra Tabib (Belgacem); Laura Sizemore (Damond); William West (Rachel); Erica West (Trey); Steven West (Rachel); Big Dog; sisters Birdie (Greg) Larrison, Brenda Smith, and brothers Jim (Linda) Pennington and Pete (Billie) Pennington;25 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 1PM Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Floral Hills Funeral Home (Chapel A) with Bill Evans officiating.  Visitation will be held Wednesday  from 11-1 PM. Burial to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.  Floral Hills is honored to serve the West family.
