Francis Clinton (Frank “Bo”) Beach of Covington, KY died peacefully at home on July 23, 2025, at the age of 90. Frank was born on December 15, 1934, at his home in Grant County, KY to Randolph and Myrtie (Webster) Beach. Frank spent his early years in Grant County and graduated from Crittenden High School in 1952, where he played basketball. In 1959, Frank married Connie Preston, beginning a loving marriage that lasted 66 years. Except for one year in Taylor Mill, they lived in Covington throughout their marriage, the majority of those years were spent on East 42nd Street. They raised two daughters together: Tina (Robert) Feldman and Lisa (Chris) Wandstrat. In addition to his wife and daughters, he is survived by 6 grandchildren: Rob (Ashlie) Feldman, Joe Feldman, Jeffrey (Megan) Feldman, Liz (Michael) Feldman Haegele, Belinda Cech and Michael (Danielle Clark) Wandstrat, along with 12 great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren and his sister, Deannie (Harry) Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Randolph and Myrtie (Webster) Beach, his brother, Randy Beach, his sister-in-law, Frances Beach, and his great grandson, Tashawn Feldman. Frank was a farmer in his youth, followed by a brief stint as an HVAC technician and 2 years in the army. Frank worked for Wadsworth Electric in Covington for 31 years. He received an award at one point for not missing a day in 26 years. When Wadsworth closed, he finished his career working for Arlinghaus Builders. Frank loved basketball! He played almost daily until he was 66 years old. He is a legend in Latonia, having run the nightly games at 8th District School and Latonia Elementary for several decades. He especially loved Holy Cross High School basketball. He started supporting them in 1967 and followed them until he could no longer attend in 2023. He was honored with a school jacket and Loyal Fan Award, which he cherished. His daughter, Lisa, followed in his footsteps and was a standout player at Holmes High School for 6 years and he never missed any of her games. Frank also loved antique cars, attending car shows and showing his antique cars. He was a long time euchre enthusiast, playing in many tournaments over the years. In later years, he played Texas Hold’em Poker with his grandchildren and friends. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Floral Hills Funeral Home (Chapel A) in Taylor Mill, KY from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm followed by the funeral at 1 PM and burial at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. A luncheon will be served after the burial at Floral Hills Reception Center.  Memorial donations may be made in Frank’s name to Holy Cross High School basketball program, 3617 Church Street, Covington, KY 41015.  Floral Hills is honored to serve the Beach family.
