Gloria Elizabeth Davis

Gloria Elizabeth Davis, 90, of Erlanger/Elsmere, born on July 14, 1934, in Covington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Provision Living. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering strength.

Gloria, who was known affectionately by her maiden name of Overstreet in her younger years,was the youngest of her family. She was the devoted daughter of John Robert Overstreet and Molly Kingcade Overstreet, who preceded her in death. Her Husband, Harold M. Davis Sr., also preceded her in death July 11, 1999. Her legacy of love and family devotion continues through her surviving family.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Tina Marie Ward, and her son, Harold Melvin Davis Jr.(Butch). Gloria's spirit lives on in her eight cherished grandchildren,thirteen great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. Each of them carry a piece of Gloria’s heart with them as they navigate life, exemplifying the values she instilled in them.

Gloria was preceded in death by her son, John Luther Davis (Skipper), whose absence remains deeply felt by all who knew him.

Her memory will forever be honored and celebrated as family and friends gather to pay their respects. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM, concluding at noon at Floral Hills Funeral Home - Chapel A, located at 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

As we say goodbye to Gloria Elizabeth Davis, we remember her for the love she shared, the wisdom she imparted, and the countless moments of joy she brought into the lives of many. She will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know her. Floral Hills is honored to serve the Davis family.
