81 of Verona, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center. She is preceded in death by her husband's Charles H. Alsip and James Ard. Gwendolyn enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her children Beverly (Al) Ruggiero of Centerville, OH, Charles A. (Brenda) Alsip of Walton, KY, Chris ( Patricia) Alsip of Walton, KY and Kelly (Joe) Whittington of Waynesville, OH; grandchildren Traci, Bryan, Jason, Sharee, Joshua, Christopher, Alexis, Jacob, Craig and Heather; great grandchildren Zoey, Aiden, Tyler, Trevor, Tanner, Savannah, Cole, Kaylah, Sydney, Weslee, Eloise, Mason, Bentley and Karter; beloved companion Gene Hollan. Visitation will be at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 11 am until time of Memorial Service at 1 pm. Inurnment will immediately follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
