COVINGTON - Helen Haegele Smiley, 92, a homemaker, died Sunday May 18 at Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport.
Her husband, Walter Smiley, died in 1978 and son, John Smiley, died previously.
Survivors include her daughter, Marianne Overley; sisters, Katherine Haegele, Bertha Lee and Nora Upthegrove; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Thursday May 22 at Swindler & Currin Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday May 22 at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Chapel, Taylor Mill.
