Janet Sefakis, 81, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at home. She was born May 25, 1945, in Covington, the daughter of the late Lloyd Ratliff and Dorothy Vandventer Ratliff. She worked as a Sales Associate for 33 years at K-Mart. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Sefakis. She is survived by her son, Ken Sefakis (Kellie); one brother, Don Ratliff (Carolyn); and two grandchildren, Dana and Isabella Sefakis. She was also preceded in death by her son, Stephen Sefakis, his wife Barbara and a brother, Kenny Ratliff. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, where visitation will be held from 11-1 PM. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Floral Hills is honored to serve the Sefakis family.
