COVINGTON - Jesse Joseph "Cookie" Brooks, 77, died Saturday May 17 his home.
He was a retired chef, Korean War Navy veteran, member of the Queen City Club, Cincinnati and a former chef for the Fort Mitchell County Club and the University Club, Cincinnati.
His daughter, Teresa Dalhover, died in 1998.
Survivors include his sons, Randy J. and Ronald E. Brooks; daughter, Joann Benson; stepdaughter, Charlene Lowe; brother, Layle Brooks; sisters, Esther Bruns and Bernice Sparrow; 14-Grandchildren; and 5 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday May 21 with services following at Allison & Rose Funeral Home, Taylor Mill. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
