John "Boo" E. Norton

John “Boo” Edward Norton, Jr., age 66, of Cold Spring, KY, formerly of Independence, KY, passed away early on the morning of Saturday, December 28, 2024, with his beloved wife by his side.

 Boo was born on February 16, 1958, in Covington, KY to the late John and Mary Norton, Sr. He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing softball, throwing darts, and watching the drag races at Thornhill Dragstrip. On April 4, 1981, Boo married the love of his life, Kimberlie “Kim” A. Stegner in Independence, KY. Boo and Kim would go on to enjoy a lifetime together hiking in Tennessee, gardening and creating lasting memories with their family and friends. 

He is survived by his loving wife 43 years, Kim A. Norton; daughter, Amy Lynn (Nicholas) Keenan; grandchildren, Kylea (Sam) Curry and Nicholas Keenan, and numerus other loving family members and friends. 

A celebration of Boo’s life will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Floral Hills Funeral Home- Chapel A, 3556 Old Taylor Mill Rd, Taylor Mill, KY.
