COVINGTON - John A. Leistner, 79, died Saturday, March 22 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.
He was a clerk with L.N. Louisville and Nashville and CSX Railroad companies and an Air Force veteran in the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Leistner; daughter, Brenda Lee; son, Steven, John A., Terry and Gerald Leistner; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. Monday, March 24 at Middendorf Funeral Home, Fort Wright. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill. Condolences can be emailed to the family at middendorffh@insightbb.com.
