John Steffen

John Earon Steffen, 41, of Independence, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence.  He was born November 1, 1980 in Bloomington, Indiana, a son of Irvin J. and Constance D. Moore Steffen.  He was a retired Carpenter, of the Catholic Faith, and is also survived by his brother, John Erik Steffan; aunt Michelle Stenger, his cousins, Andy Stenger and Julia Stenger and her children, Collin, Ayden and Bailee, and his beloved dog, Lynk.  Funeral services will be held 3 PM Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Taylor Mill, where visitation will be held from 1-3 PM.
