John Arthur Weber, 78, of Independence, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 21, 1948, in Dayton, Kentucky, to Art and Virginia Weber.

John was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Linda Weber; his parents; and two siblings.

He leaves behind a family who will forever cherish his memory, including his daughters, Rachel Walls and Jessica Harris (Carl); his beloved grandchildren, Hailey, Devin, Alyssa, Damien, Caidynce, Adrienne, and Dominik; his cherished great-grandson, Bentley; and five siblings.

John was a hardworking man who devoted his life to his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose greatest joy came from the people he loved most.

Anyone who knew John knew how much he loved his red Chevy Cavalier. It was his pride and joy, and he could happily spend hours talking about it, but he preferred that no one else touch it. He took great pride in keeping it in perfect condition, but always worked to improve it.

Some of John's happiest moments were spent behind the wheel with Linda by his side. Together, they enjoyed long drives along Route 8 with no particular destination, simply enjoying each other's company and the journey itself. His daughters also fondly remember the many boating adventures they shared as children, whether fishing or spending a day on the river.

John was a devoted Catholic whose faith guided him throughout his life. He believed deeply in the teachings of the Bible and sought to live by them each day through his actions, kindness, and love for others. He was passionate about sharing his faith with those he loved and encouraging them in their relationship with God. His steadfast faith was a source of strength and purpose throughout his life and remains a lasting part of the legacy he leaves behind.

Above all else, John loved his family deeply. Whether spending time with loved ones, sharing his faith, or enjoying the simple pleasures of life, he approached each day with dedication, love, and gratitude. His unwavering love, faith, and caring presence touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. He will be remembered with love, missed beyond measure, and carried forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
