Johnnie Cauldy Harrison, a beloved member of his community and family, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on October 20, 1951, Johnnie lived a life characterized by dedication to his faith, career, love for his family, and passion for various interests that enriched his spirit.A proud graduate of Piedmont College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a minor in History, Johnnie retired from Comair, where his hard work and commitment were evident throughout his professional journey. His inquisitive mind and sharp wit made him exceptional at trivia games, notably excelling in Jeopardy. He carried this zest for knowledge into his personal life as well, inspiring family and friends alike.Johnnie had an array of hobbies that brought him joy and fulfillment. He was particularly fond of building model cars, and his creativity shone through as he meticulously crafted each piece. An avid reader, he delighted in immersing himself in literature across various genres. Additionally, music played a significant role in his life, and he found comfort and joy in the melodies that filled his home. His involvement with the Sassy Seniors group at Open Door Community Church offered him companionship and camaraderie, showcasing his vibrant personality and love for social interaction. When his beloved wife and best friend became ill, he was her constant caretaker and never left her side until she went to be with the Lord in May 2020. He is survived by his cherished children, Crystal (Wayne) Morrison and Chris (Amanda) Harrison. He took immense pride in being a grandfather to Ashley (Nick) Luebrecht, Trevor Morrison, Blake Harrison, and Dylan Harrison. His great-grandchildren, Aubery Luebrecht, Adeline Luebrecht, and August Luebrecht, brought him countless moments of joy. His sister, Cathy (Howard) Yearwood, was also an incredibly special person in his life. They will all miss him dearly but are so grateful he is now celebrating in his heavenly home. Johnnie is preceded in death by his loving wife, Janice, whose presence he dearly missed. He was also predeceased by his parents, Charles H. and Lois Harrison, his brother, Charles L. Harrison, and his nephew, Todd Harrison. Each of these individuals contributed to the person he became, shaping his life with love and support. A visitation will be held Tuesday,  March 18, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Open Door Community Church in Erlanger, KY, followed by a funeral service starting at 11:00 AM. Johnnie will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, KY, during a burial service scheduled for 12:30 PM. Johnnie Cauldy Harrison will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but for the love and warmth he shared with all who knew him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of family and friends, who will always cherish the beautiful memories created together.
