Johnny Earl Askins

Johnny Earl Askins, born on October 11, 1960, departed from this life on April 20, 2025.

Johnny is remembered as a loving father to his six children and a cherished grandfather to his grandchildren, Carter and Zoe Humbard. He also leaves behind brothers and sisters, along with many family members and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.

Johnny is preceded in death by his wife, Janette, his parents, John and Winnie Mae Askins, his sister, Tammy Askins, and his brother, Dennis Tirey.

Visitation will be held on May 3, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home - Chapel A, located at 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. A funeral service will follow from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. Johnny will then be laid to rest on May 5, 2025, with burial taking place at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, starting at 11:00 AM.

As we reflect on Johnny's life, we are reminded of the impact he had on his family and community. He will be sorely missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
