Joseph Joe Vice, 58, of Taylor Mill, passed away at home on April 21, 2026.
Joseph's memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew him best. He shared a loving marriage of 24 years with his wife, Stephanie Vice, and their bond spanned 40 years of life together. He was a proud and dedicated father to Gage, AJ, Maranda, and stepfather/uncle to Jacob, and found immense joy in being a dad/grandfather to Cam, and grandfather to Karley, Jersey, Alexis, AJ, Jaylynn, and Jamir. Joseph will also be dearly missed by his mother, Jennifer Vice; and his siblings, Dana Vice and Johnny (Helen) Plybon.
Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Vice, and his brother, James Vice.
Known for his sense of adventure, Joseph was someone who could always be counted on to come to the rescue when his loved ones needed him most. His greatest passion in life was his family—raising his children, supporting them through life, and excitedly embracing his role as a grandfather. He enjoyed spending his time boating, riding motorcycles, listening to music, deer hunting with both crossbow and rifle, fishing, and hosting cookouts and gatherings that brought people together. In recent times, he also found excitement and success at the slot machines at Turfway, where he found himself to be quite the big winner! Joseph will be remembered for his loyalty, his strength, his love for family, and the joy he brought to those around him. His legacy lives on in the lives of those he loved and the memories they will cherish forever.
Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, Monday, April 27, 2026 11:00AM-1:00PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00PM. Burial will take place at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens upon conclusion of the funeral service. Floral Hills is honored to serve the Vice family. From
Joe's son: "He loved running them poachers off the hill and catching big bucks!"
