Joyce Ann Holyoke

Joyce Ann Holyoke, 89, of Erlanger, died Sunday, July 6, 2025, at the Seasons@Alexandria with her family by her bedside.  She was born December 2, 1935, in Augusta, Kentucky, the daughter of Morris Wm. and Ida G. Clinger Smith.  Joyce was a beloved wife, mother, proud grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker.  She was an avid reader, Bengals fan, and more recently, a renewed baseball fan.  She loved listening to music, especially Frankie Valli, and saw him live and watched Jersey Boys more times than we can count.  She enjoyed playing cards and Bingo, both with a little competetiveness.  She was a member of Crescent Springs Baptist Church but attended services at the Season's regularly.  Joyce was married to the love of her life, Jerry P. Holyoke, for 70 years and missed him dearly after his passing in 2023.  She is survived by her children, David Holyoke (Melissa); Jerri Schulte (Doug); Julie Lambert (Michael); and Lori Wade (Lance); her grandchildren, David (Yvonne), Rebecca (Joe); Christina (Ralph); Debbie, Cheryl (Chris); and Travis; great-grandchildren Braden (Shyann); Anakin, McKenzie, Eva, Elissa, Paige, Carly, Emma, Isaac, Lexi, Sawyer and a host of relatives and friends. There will be a Memorial Gathering from 12-2 PM Monday, July 14, 2025, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A. Private interment at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
