Karl Heinze Steffens

Karl Heinz Steffens, 53, of Latonia, born on March 9, 1971, in Edgewood, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home on January 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew him.

Karl was the proud father of four children: Karl Steffens II, Karla Steffens, Samantha Steffens, and Lucas Steffens. He found immense joy in being a grandfather to ten grandchildren, who brought light and happiness into his life. His legacy of love and laughter will continue through them.

He is survived by his brothers John Steffens (Tammy), Mary Steffens-Willen (Rick), Elmer Steffens (Jennifer), Julieane Clark (Mark), and Jeff Steffens, who will undoubtedly carry forward the memories and the spirit of their beloved brother.

Karl was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Steffens and Geraldine Wilson Steffens, who fostered in him the values of compassion and generosity that he shared with others throughout his life.

A Celebration of Life in honor of Karl Heinz Steffens will be held on January 29, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home - Chapel A, located at 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, Kentucky, 41015. Family and friends are invited to join together to celebrate the remarkable life that Karl led and the cherished memories he created with those he loved.
