Kenneth Robert Wells

Kenneth (Ken) Robert Wells, 86, of Union, born to Robert Wells and Dorothy Emmett on October 16, 1938, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him. Ken was known for his strong façade and big heart. A dedicated husband to his wife, Janice Stacy Wells. His memory also lives on through his daughters, Sheila Foster, Lisa Troendle, and Teresa (Rick) Burton, his son, Tony Wells, brothers, Tom Wells and Dennis Autry, and sister, Carol (Don) Black, as well as his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ken was predeceased by his parents, his sons Scott, Brian, and Steven, his daughter Kimberly, and brothers Joe and Mike. 

 Ken was an avid craftsman, often using his skills to lend a helping hand to others. A retired diesel mechanic, he could frequently be found in his garage, where his passion for automotives and problem solving engine mechanics held strong throughout his life. He also found joy in nature while hiking through the woods with his dog, and hunting with his friends. He spent countless hours gardening and perfecting his beautiful landscaping, another way he connected with those close to him. The family invites all who knew Ken to join them in honoring his life. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Both events will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home - Chapel A, located at 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road in Taylor Mill, Kentucky.
