RYLAND HEIGHTS - Laura Mae Folmer Huffaker, 68, died Sunday, June 29, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Edgewood.
She was a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, member of First Baptist Church of Independence and she enjoyed crocheting and reading.
Her son, William "Butch" Huffaker III, died in 2004.
Survivors include her husband, William M. Huffaker; daughters, Laura Estelle Clark, Mary Virginia "Ginny" Huffaker and Robin Ann Hornsby; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10:30-12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 3, with service following at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
