Lola Ann Cheeks

Lola Ann Cheeks, 81, of Jonesville, died Wednesday, January 14, 2026, in Dry Ridge. She was born September 9, 1944, in Laurel County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Laddle Cottongim and Sybil G. Owens Browning. She was retired from Wal Mart where she was a Cashier for many years and was a longtime member of Violet Ridge Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Shelby Cheeks; her children, April Hutchinson (Jerry); Melissa Grimes;Bill Grady; Gale Grady; Melissa Grady; Step daughter Cassandra Cheeks-Hall (Leroy); one brother, Virgil Cottongim; sister Velvet Browning; her grandchildren Casey Hucker (Rebecca), Brittany Damrell (Kyler), and Brandon Grimes (Jessica) and 6 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Funeral Services will be held 12 PM January 23, 2025, at the Violet Ridge Church of Christ in Crittenden, with Tommy Simpson officiating. Visitation will be 10-12 PM at the church. Burial will follow at the VA Cemetery in Williamstown
