Lorraine Francis Di Frank

Lorraine Francis Di Frank (nee Ambroise) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at the age of 99. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Throughout her long and blessed life she lived in Chicago, Phoenix and most recently Northern Kentucky. She loved to travel, socialize, play bingo and go to the occasional casino. She and her husband Murray (deceased in 2004) were always gracious hosts to family and friends who would come to visit. Her legacy is going and doing with those she loved well into her late nineties. 

Lorraine was a dedicated wife of fifty-five years to husband Murray. They raised and loved three children: the eldest, James (deceased), daughter Margaret and youngest son Peter. She was the grandmother of four and great-grandmother of six. 

There will be a visitation at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in Taylor Mill, KY on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a Mass beginning at 2:00 p.m. There will be a meal for family and friends in the church’s reception hall from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Lorraine will be laid to rest next to Murray in the VA cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona
