Louise Howard

Betty Louise Howard, age 95, peacefully passed away on September 19, 2026. She was born on January 9, 1931, in Wallins Creek, Kentucky, to the late Oscar and Sara Deaton.

Louise was a longtime member of Hopeful Church of God. Her faith and family were very important to her. She loved going to church, where she sang in a trio, and enjoyed spending time with her family. Louise also loved shopping and especially treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Louise was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Beechman Howard, who passed away in 2020; her parents, Oscar and Sara Deaton; and her siblings, Cleo Sams (Arnold), Ben Deaton (Rosie), Orville Deaton (Glenna), and Wanda Bennett (Horace).

She is survived by her two sons, Michael Howard (Teresa) and Edward Howard (Jennifer); and her three beloved grandchildren, Cory, Blake, and Drew.

Louise will be remembered for her love of family, her strong faith, and the many special memories she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, on September 28, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens at 2:00 p.m.
