Mary Catherine Baker

Cathy Baker, 73, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Florence. She was born January 4, 1952, in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late Lonnie V. Johnson and Gladys Lederer Johnson. Cathy is survived by her children, Chuck Baker (Sheri), Charity Ryan (Adam), and Joshua Baker (Jessica); her siblings, Yvonne Johnson, Patti Phillips (Bill), John Johnson (Marianne), Jim Johnson, and Nancy Kelsey; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Tammi Johnson. Cathy loved her family with her whole heart. She enjoyed having Elvis playing in the background, spending time doing crafts, face painting with the kids, drawing, and finding joy in the simple things. More than anything, she treasured her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were her pride and joy, and her face lit up every time she was with them. Graveside services will be private and held for immediate family only.
