Nancy Jones Scroggins, was born in Bear Branch, KY on June 8, 1933, and went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2025. She was 91 years old.

Preceded in death by her husband Fred Scroggins Jr, her father Price Jones, mother Mae (Osborne) Jones, sister Imojean Jones, and brother Clarence Jones. Survived by her daughters Karen Petty (Steve), Kathy Earlywine (Jeff), and sister Juanita Jones.

Grandmother to Bryan Lanham (Jodi), Joshua Lanham (Erin), Brandon Lanham (Tiffany), Jessica Moses (Jeremy), Kyle Petty, Jordan Earlywine-Abner (Austin). Great Grandmother to Luke, Cody, Hudson, Elijah, Avery, Jeremiah, and Mia.

She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Nancy also was a devoted registered nurse for over 35 years.

She and her husband Fred loved volunteering at the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, KY. They met and ministered to many people from around the country and the world. She was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church, Latonia, KY who loved and served the Lord.

She loved being outside in the garden, tending to her vegetables, roses and flowers for which she had a remarkable green thumb.

Nancy was an avid reader of the Bible, Christian publications, and history books. She was a huge Cincinnati Reds fan.

Visitation will be Friday April 18, 2025 at 10:00 AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Services will be at Calvary Baptist Church, 3711 Tibbatts St., Covington, KY. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Calvary Baptist Church. Burial at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
