Nancy Christine Vogel

Nancy Christine Vogel, 86, of Covington, born on June 14, 1938, in Covington, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on January 11, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. She lived a life dedicated to caring for others as a Registered Nurse, a profession she embraced with compassion and commitment.

Nancy was cherished by her family and friends, including her son Darrell Shelton, daughter Theresa Morgan, and her brother Jackie Bishop. She took immense joy in her role as a grandmother, and her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her great pride and happiness.

In addition to her professional dedication, Nancy had a variety of hobbies that enriched her life. She found delight in playing cards, gambling, crocheting, and working with needlepoint, all activities that allowed her to express her creativity and engage with those around her.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and her two children, Steven Shelton and Pamela Kemen. Her legacy of love and care will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home - Chapel A, located at 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road in Taylor Mill, Kentucky. Following the visitation, a funeral service will commence at 7:00 PM at the same location.

Nancy Christine Vogel's life was lived with grace and kindness, and she will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
