COVINGTON - Peggy A. Sassin, 71, died Friday, Feb. 1 while vacationing in Lakeland, Fla.
She was a nurse for St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Edgewood, and enjoyed traveling and her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Sassin; daughters, Diane Kmit, Cynthia Denton, Sandra Baggett and Nancy Morrison; sons, Fred Marksberry, Donald and Richard Sassin; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 and service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8 at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Taylor Mill. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
