Randall Keith Hicks, 46, of Independence died Wednesday at University Hospital in Cincinnati.
He was a self-employed carpenter and attended Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Tammie Hicks; sons, Sean Hicks of Florence and Darryl Hicks of Independence; brothers, Wayne Hicks, Dennie Hicks and Darryl Hicks, all of Independence, and Greg of South Carolina; a sister, Teresa Hicks; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home in Alexandria. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill.
