Renae Martin

Valencia “Renae” Martin, 69, of Florence, died unexpectedly Monday, May 26, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Florence surrounded by family and friends. She was born October 31, 1955, in Charleston, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents Valencia Juanita Conway and Charles Linwood Hart. And she’s joined family and friends, in her journey to be with the Lord. Her love continues through her beloved and devoted husband Greg Martin, her daughters, Jodi Farmer, Jennifer Louden, Janeal Dickens, and Johna Martin, her grandchildren, Jayde Louden, Jagger Louden, Xavier VanCleave, Cauvey Vastine, Diego Vastine, Denasia Vastine, Skylar Aylor, and her great granddaughter Denver Schuchart. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters Chet and Barb Hart, Steve Hart, Kevin Hart, Cindy and Paul Brooker. She has many nieces, nephews, great nephews, extended family, and friends that will continue her legacy of family and love.

If you knew her, you knew you were welcome to a delicious plate made of love. She loved you protectively and fiercely, if you had her love, you were the most blessed by God. And once you met her, you continued to bask in the light of her being. She lived life taking care of her family, and she was proud that her family was hers! She was firm in her foundation with the Lord and her loved ones. She will be missed by many!

A Celebration of Life and Love will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, further details to follow.

There were many charitable areas she donated to but the two nearest to her heart were Diabetes, Type I and Type 2, and being a Breast Cancer survivor of almost 10 years, Breast Cancer
