Richard G Klette

Richard Gallatin Klette, 86, of Covington, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Villaspring Care Center in Erlanger. He was born May 6, 1939, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of the late Carl Klette and Helen Richardson Klette and adopted parents Thomas and Amelia Huston. He was a retired Warehouse Dispatcher and loved being an Umpire for over 23 years, and was inducted into the Northern Kentucky Hall of Fame. He was also a deacon at the late Oakland Avenue Baptist Church and a deacon at Redemption Church at Ashland Avenue. He was married October 20, 1962, to Bonnie Lee Middleton Klette, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Timothy Klette (Vicky); Steven Klettte and Jonathan Klette (Vanessa); one brother, Robert Klette and four grandchildren (Nicholas Klette, Abigail Klette, Olivia Klette, and Zachary Klette. There will be a Graveside Service 11 AM Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, with Ben Brown officiating..
